I’m passionate about public health, social and economic equality, and fixing our climate crisis.
I am the proud daughter of two hardworking Peruvian migrants. My parents and I moved to Adelaide when I was 6 years old in the search of better opportunities.
Like many of you, I joined the Greens because we are the only party fighting for a fairer future for people and a safe liveable climate.
The status quo isn’t working for ordinary people or our planet. I am putting my hand up to be your Greens Legislative Council #2 Candidate because I believe positive change is possible. I’m ready to take the fight to our Parliament and create a future for all of us.
This pre-selection is our chance to revitalise our party and set up our future leaders. We need a young, diverse, progressive, voice in our Parliament to drive change that will actually make people’s lives better, protect nature, and keep our movement strong.
Volunteering with the Greens has given me a strong sense of community and purpose. I’ve held a range of roles within our party which have equipped and prepared me to be your Legislative Council #2 Candidate.
In 2024 and 2025, I became an active organiser and volunteer leader during the Dunstan By-Election and Federal Election. I lead doorknocks, helped managed social media accounts and recruited volunteers for campaign activities.
During the 2024 Black By-Election, I worked in State Office as a Field Organiser to mobilise hundreds of volunteers to letterbox, doorknock and staff polling booths.
I have served as the President of the University of Adelaide Greens Club for over 18 months. In this role I have organised and led stalls to bring young people into our movement.
As a State Council Delegate, I have fearlessly advocated and represented my branch to help guide and build our party’s governance processes.
I have worked in a Greens MLC office, where I have been able to contribute to the important work that goes into shaping speeches, amending legislation, and working with community groups. I learned the importance of actively listening to people’s concerns and the importance of having a strong movement that mobilises to support Parliamentary efforts. Our movement’s key strength is our people power – and I have seen our community mobilise again and again to support the Greens’ parliamentary work on the issues that mattered to them – like climate, Palestine, housing, democracy and reproductive rights.
I’ve spent my whole life advocating for justice – social, economic and environmental.
A few years ago, I was a Youth Parliament Participant where I was awarded the Emerging Leader Award for my cohort. During the program, I gained skills and knowledge to successfully navigate speechmaking, parliamentary processes and critical analysis of legislation.
In 2023, I volunteered with the Australian Migrant Resource Centre to plan and speak at their Youth Forum to celebrate and empower young culturally and linguistically diverse people by connecting them with community services and leaders.
As a member of the Commissioner for Children and Young People’s (CCYP) Period Justice Working Group, I have worked to co-design more inclusive school curriculums, advocated to have young people’s perspectives heard by decision-makers and presented evidence to a Parliamentary Committee.
As the 2024 University of Adelaide’s SRC Women’s Officer, I continued student-led advocacy to improve access to free period products on campus and successfully lobbied to have a Periods, Pain and Endometriosis workshop delivered for university students. I supported progressive campus initiatives such as mutual-aid soup kitchens and Students for Palestine activism.
I strongly believe that our lead candidates and MPs should be key organiser within our campaigns. As your candidate, I will take active leadership in our field and relationship campaigning. I will use my vast campaigning knowledge and skills to lead by example, train our volunteers, and form deep connections with our community.
With your vote this pre-selection and if elected in March 2026, I commit to:
Our MPs should champion our values and policies not only in the parliamentary chambers, but also in our communities.
I’m always eager and open to connect with fellow Greens members to discuss our shared values and hopes for the future. If you have any questions or would like to talk more about my candidacy, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I acknowledge the traditional lands of the Kaurna people on which I live, work and study. This always was, and always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to the ongoing connection First Nations people have to land, waters and skies. I am committed to walking in reconciliation with First Nations people in the fight for Truth, Treaty and First Nations Justice.
